About EFA-West Texas LLC
European Football Academy - West Texas
We are a European-style training academy, with certified USSF coach Ricardo Lara. Our European working methodology is aligned with the training approach that has led European teams to be the best at the level of clubs and national teams. Our aim is to develop confident and creative players while learning life skills such as being respectful, resilient, and have a positive attitude. Through soccer/football, EFA-WT players learn to assimilate values such as respect, empathy, responsibility, and above all, TEAMWORK.
EFA-WT is partnering with Japan based soccer club, European Football Academy - Okinawa (EFAO). This partnership may bring opportunities for El Paso area kids to participate with international youth players in other domestic and international tournaments. We have many exciting tournaments we will participate in to give our players the experience of different playing styles of soccer in different areas of the USA, Europe, and the Pacific.
EFA West Texas is recruiting players for the summer and fall seasons to compete in local leagues and domestic and international competitions. We are currently recruiting:
2019-2021 kids for U5/6/7
2016-2018 kids for U9/10,
2016/2017 girls for “New” U10 Girls
2014-2015 for U11/12
2012/2013 for U13/14

Coach Ricardo Lara is a USSF D Licensed coach and retired military veteran. He grew up in El Paso, TX and is following his passion of soccer/football and sharing his passion with local area children. He was trained by a UEFA Pro Licensed coach and has coached in Japan with EFAO since August of 2019 before relocating back to El Paso in Aug

Working with his passion of soccer, Coach David assists Coach Ric in execution of practices and coaching. He is trained in EFA methodology and played youth soccer and recreational soccer.
